Research Affiliates

This program is geared toward local scholars who are working on Asia and interested in collaborating with UNC-Chapel Hill. The Carolina Asia Center provides access to library resource materials at UNC for such scholars to conduct Asia-related research.

Research Affiliate Requirements:

1. Research affiliate applicants need to identify a UNC-Chapel Hill department and/or faculty member who will oversee research collaboration on UNC faculty-driven research
2. Priority will be given to faculty members or postdoctoral student

Preference is given to scholars who currently hold a teaching position. The term limit for the research affiliate status is 5 years.
