Lending Library
The Carolina Asia Center Lending Library is a free resource for instructors looking to incorporate Asia into their curriculum. These book sets offer diverse perspectives, ranging from the lives of children in modern Asia to stories of adventurers on the Silk Road. All books have been vetted by our outreach team in hopes that they can best meet the needs of classroom instructors for grade levels K-12. Links to the contents of each book set can be found below.
These books sets are available to be shipped to North Carolina schools and community colleges for free. We will pay for shipping to an educator’s home or school, and also pay for return shipping to get the materials back to the Carolina Asia Center.
The Lending Library is primarily administered by our Program Associate, Eleanor Murray. Please contact her with any questions or comments at elemurr@live.unc.edu.
